According to the UN, the global population will be 9.8 billion by 2050.
And, half of the world’s population growth will be concentrated in some countries bordering the Lake Victoria region (the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, the United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda), hence exerting a lot of pressure on the lake resources for livelihood generation.
The majority of these populations are women and young people.
To support and work with women and girls from the Lake Victoria region through providing necessary skills, tools and resources for their engagement in sustainable enterprises and economic development.
We envision a society where women and girls build, lead and win without limitations.
